Frequently asked questions
What is a baby sleep consultant, and how can you help my family?
A sleep consultant should be CETRIFIED and should have completed a longer detailed program. A certified sleep consultant helps newborn, infants and toddlers develop healthy sleep habits to not only gain the developmental sleep needed but also to enjoy sleep again. This is done through a customized and gentle sleep strategies. I work very closely with the families and guide them to improve the sleep routine, reduce night wakings, reduce crying and to create a sustainable sleep that that suits your parenting style. The aim is to regain the healthy sleep needed for everyone in the family.
At what age can sleep training start?
Sleep training can start with newborns although then it is a consultancy and not a “training”. With Newborns we look to find the right routine and learn what is important to focus on to create good and healthy sleep habits. By having a good sleep from the get go you will find the recessions and other upcoming phases a lot easier. Sleep training can then be done starting with 3-6 months with a gentle routine. Every child is so unique so I tailor every sleep plan to your babys age, development and temperament
Do you use the cry-it-out method?
No. My approach is gentle, responsive, and based on science. I offer multiple evidence-based techniques like gradual withdrawal, pick-up/put-down, and routines that avoid unnecessary stress—for both baby and parents.
